Family Tradition
When Fred and Maude Beattie established Beattie Monument in 1965, they had two goals – to offer quality products and to provide exceptional customer service. What began over three decades ago as a monumental stone company has evolved today into a total home design source – Inside Outside. Since the late 1970’s, Tim Barrineau and Pam Beattie Barrineau have owned and operated Inside Outside Design Source. Nicole Barrineau-Matthews, their daughter, has since joined the team as the third generation dedicated to the family business. While the business has changed, the family’s commitment to excellence has remained the same – to offer quality natural stone products and to provide exceptional customer service.

Reputation for Excellence
The Barrineau family began the home design component of their company in the early 1980’s when no business in the state and few in the region offered natural stone products for the home. To guarantee superior quality, the Barrineaus handled all building and remodeling jobs in-house, from design to fabrication to installation. Today, the same holds true. Over the years, the Barrineau’s work has appeared in hundreds of remarkable homes and businesses throughout the South, as well as in national publications like Southern Living and Better Homes & Gardens.
